Big Cat Design is a Kansas City design firm focused on client-first design that delivers a hand-crafted quality and high performing functionality for a seamless living experience. The office was founded by Lauren Conderman in 2005 and focuses on architectural design for homes, commercial workspaces, retail, and interior design. Projects range includes early 1900’s restorations to new construction contemporary homes. Rather than prescribing a particular architectural style, we create unique designs for each client based on their lifestyle and their location. Over the past 15 years, our talent and thorough attention to detail has earned the trust of our most discerning clients. We are experts in navigating the approval processes in the Kansas City metro area, and we work with homes association boards on behalf of owners to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. Our extensive experience with both renovations and new construction allows us to establish realistic architecture project budgets from which owners can make informed decisions. We are adept at identifying project constraints and obstacles early in the design process, and we create design solutions that are both effective and beautiful.
