Lauren received a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Kansas State University. She also studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston and was a full-time Professor at Boston Architectural College. From 1987-1994, Lauren worked for large architectural firms in Boston before returning to her home town of Kansas City.
